About Us
Genesis 1 is the weekly message presented to you by the Essentials of Life Holistic Enrichment Center. We are a Universal Life Church, located in Hartville, Ohio...but thanks to the internet, we are located all over the world. And in Truth, we are all one all over the world...connected by love...even without the internet!
We are here to enrich your holistic experience of life...sharing ways to enjoy God's gifts of healing which are freely given to all. Spirit, mind and body...all three...in balance and harmony with nature...allowing you to be in harmony with your own natural health.
We are ministers, friends, fellow-humans and peers of all walks of life. We are you...no better, no worse...just the same. We are all teachers, all healers, all ministers if we choose to be. We share with each other and learn together and live a life of praise to the healing and life-giving powers of God...of Love...of the Goodness in all of Life.
Genesis 1 was born out of the vision of our founding minister, Dr. Jody Evans. You can read her bio at www.vibraceous.com. Dr. Evans accepted the calling at the age of 12, and has spent her life learning about various aspects of holistic healing and natural health. She deeply believes there is nothing that cannot be healed through nature and love. It is upon this rock which this church was built.
Dr. Evans enjoys spending time with family and developing the programs of Essentials of Life. She also enjoys writing books. She wants nothing more than to share the awareness of God's healing gifts, and to encourage others to do the same. Dr. Evans' first book, "God's Gifts of Healing," will be available soon.
We have a team of ministers here, ever changing and growing in numbers. If you have an interest in serving, please let us know. We'd be happy to have you as part of the team! As stated, we are a Universal Life Church, so therefore we respect all peaceful and loving faiths. Our common mission is to help each other and the world to heal.
